Finally Something Cheap...

'Expensive' is a word that can be used to describe everything here in Melbourne. Food especially... Even for Ringgit, RM10 per meal already consider a good meal for me. In here, it's also 10, but $10! Convert into Ringgit, RM30!!! For a good meal, $20!!!!!

Well, at least it's expected to be expensive before I came here... Originally I though that I can get some electronic products over here like mp3 player, laptop, camera and PSP at cheaper prices. But ended up not the case... Some even more expensive than Malaysia.

Everything is freaking expensive! But until today, I finally found something cheap!

Cadbury 500g Milk Chocolate selling at $4.50! Back in Malaysia, it cost around RM13 for a 250g pack. From what I observed, this should be some stock clearance sale price. Which means it's only limited stocks. Ish... I should have buy more....

It has been awhile since last post of crap...

I always find those Short-forms that I encountered while reading forums or playing DotA to be interesting. People often using them more than just a short-form of their original meanings. Some classical short-forms like: 'WTF' 'OMG' and 'LoL' should be well known enough. Yet the evolution of these short-forms will never end. From time to time, some unfamiliar short-forms will pop out from no where. Sometimes I don't even bother to check what they mean, because they are usually meaningless.

So I encountered this 'FFS' since I started playing DotA via Aussie server. Both Darryl, ZhengWei and me have no idea what's that mean, but we know that it's a term to scold people. Back in Malaysia, people usually use some dialect-translated short-forms like: 'CCB' 'MCB' and 'KNN'. ZhengWei always interpret it as 'F*ck F*ck S*ck' whenever he saw the word. Somehow I found it to be very funny, as I'll LoL everytime I try to pronounce it. Finally, someone told us that 'FFS' actually means 'For Fuck's Sake'. But I still prefer 'F*ck F*ck S*ck'...

The incident suddenly brought up some interesting short-forms that I know. 'ROFL' means 'Rolling On Floor Laughing' ; 'LuL' is not a typo of 'LoL' but meaning 'Lamely Uncomfortable Laugh' ; 'FTW' is not 'F*ck The What', but 'For The Win'.

Random Snap - Swanston St. (Got many McDonald Shop?)

It has been a month since I came Melbourne. Well, as the title means... I had went through some boring days and really got nothing to talk about. As a 'standard' home-junkie, I spent most of my time in room besides going to classes. Maybe some day, I'll go explore around the city alone... Maybe.

University, is really a hard place... I'd been start doing some labs, and these theories about regarding the lab... Lecturers basically NEVER teach in our lecture. So I'll have to scratch my head until it's bleeding to figure out how to deal with the lab report. Another change that I haven't get used to is that lecturers won't cover all the syllabus in their lecture. Mostly require self-study... I've started to feel that I'm left behind of the syllabus these days because lazy to study on my own.

It's about 1am, as Zennway was going to sleep. He suddenly reminded of his milk which he not sure had he put back in the fridge, so he went checking. He backed to room saying that his milk was lost! So I went intended to double check with him. The shocking truth was actually not only his milk, but most of our food in the fridge was gone!!!

There was a fridge's checkup, and our food has been thrown for not labeling them. Actually they had put up a notice.... Just that I was too retarded to ask for the labels from reception. Sorry Zennway...

Coincidently, we just started to buy food in bulk last week so we no need travel to shop that much. Our approximated lost is about 30 Dollar. Ouch! Can't help but feel so sad...
