Merry X'mas?

It's another Christmas, which means a year has come to it's end. My family is not christian, so Christmas is just a public holiday for us. Except my sister who is a sincere Christian. Heard a story about Christmas from my sister when i asked her how her church celebrating Christmas this year. My sister said this issue still under debate, so i'm just telling this as a rumour. Didn't mean to insult anyone.

Do you realise some greetings nowadays or properly you yourself also using "Merry X'mas" instead of "Merry Christmas" ? Most people will think tat's just a short form just like me. But it's X-mas, not really sound like Christmas isn't it?

Well actually, the 'X' has the same meaning as in mathematics. An unknown. They are telling that Christmas is not Christ's birthday! Even the Bible never mentioned about His birth date. So some philosophers suggested that Christmas actually is not Christ's birthday. But due to some incidents/mistakes (Not sure about this part, forgive me if any wrong information), 25th of December is treat as Christ's birthday and being celebrated by Christian for centuries until now.

Furthermore, Christmas nowadays is also celebrated even by none Christian. Many culture of Christmas formed also seem to be not related to christianity. Santa Clause, Christmas tree, etc etc.. So, they remove the word 'Christ' and replace with an unknown 'X' to compromise the Christmas that had been commercialize in modern societies...

Next time, when u writing greetings to people, think again... 'Merry Christmas' or 'Merry X'mas' ?

Singapore Travelling...

One of the nonsense of this trip is, we went with a luxury bus but lived in a budget hotel. 3 nights in Fragrance Hotel cost $100 per person but two-ways Aeroline bus ticket has cost me $80.

We were greeted by Rain God in the very first day we reached. Even we got some raincoat and umbrella, but the rain was cats and dogs. We were all soaking wet. Teck Hong tell us forecast said it going to rain for the whole week. So Joey, Jovie, Sam and me all bought umbrellas because we were too fed up after washed by the rain.

This is my last trip with A Level friends. Quite funny for a group of people who don't like shopping making a trip to Singapore. Compare to walk around those branded shopping malls, we boys seem to be more enjoying gather and play together in hotel's room. Like Sam said, we better use the money to rent a room in KL hotel and spend times together inside. Personally, I also quite prefer a trip like that... I though I'd withstood but it still felt very down when separated with friends, especially I leaved earlier alone before the trip end.

Event's Costume

Since I'm soo free these days, I spent times recall my memories in Inti. Then I suddenly think of the costumes I have. I do have some club's costumes during secondary school. But I think Inti college is the only place that has the trend "Every Event Got It's Costume". Dunno how is trend come from. As during my secondary school, we will just wear our club costumes when helding activities.

Actually I found that it's the unique and fun part for club activities in Inti. Everytimes I take part in an activity, the 1st thing i care about is will there be a new pretty T-shirt for me? And although I'm not talented in art, I found myself very interest in designing a T-shirt. Zennway who is a little talented always asked to design T-shirt. So I always gave comments to him and ask him to draw. Until sometimes I also think that myself is too annoying... Luckily he's a kind person and didn't mind me.

Unfortunately, I'm not an active club member. I joined Buddhist Society, STACT Club and Chinese Cultural Society before but not really into them. So my costume collection is rather limited. I bet the person have the most costume is Kuan Sim. LoL... he was committee of both STACT and Adventure which are most active clubs in Inti. We always joke on him that he came Inti to join club but not study...

This should be our Buddhist Camp's T-shirt. I rushed by FuLung, the O.C. to complete in 3 hours from 1 a.m. But sadly unable to print it due to lack of funding.

Another regretful thing of mine in Inti is unable to print out a T shirt for H2Fp. I keep pushing Zennway to design 1 for us but he's busying with other things. Cannot blame him actually. Sometimes I even give my words too hard until he a bit angry...

This is my version of design, which at least i hope we can have a visual one even though we don't have a real one.

Last Week in INTI hostel...

So my A-Levels finally come to an end... Well, time passed never return. Gonna miss h2fp for quite awhile. It happened so naturally, our farewell... Everyone leaved. Times may fade away our friendship, but at least we shared some good memories together. Although Inti is not a wonderful place, but i still gonna miss here because there are a lots of fun times we spent together here:

Study overnight during sem 2 b4 physic paper...
Pantry
- A place that we gathered only when there was exam coming soon. As for other times, all rather stay in room watch animes/movies or play games. Since study is boring, we made most of our stupid action here. ZennWay, who pretend as a wrong number to call a girl just to hear her voice. Joey, who play around with a condom we bought for him as birthday present. And a big credit to Keefei, our ultimate producer of funny video clips which coloured our boring hostel life.

The legendary 'H2FP' territory
- How's this H2FP name come from? It's not named by ourselves. It happened that we did a lot of crazy things in our block. This ends up a complaining thread targeted at us. One of the complain is 'Always blast music when no people in room.' which is talking about me. Actually I dun like blast music, I just open music louder when i go toilet so I can heard musics when I bathing. The another complain is aiming for Joey and ThongChin. 2 perfect partner who always play Chase & Catch around the block. Sometimes about some things, sometimes about some reasons... Believed that I of the main complainer is Joey's neighbour who lived downstair of him. He had insulted us more than 5 times face to face for different reasons, but none of us really care about that. LOL...
The thread mention us as 'Block H, 2nd floor, Front Part', so we simplified it as 'H2FP'.

The Red carpet
- You will know why I call this bridge 'Red Carpet' if u had walked along it with ThongChin & ZennWay before. LOL... This bridge is only way that connect hostel area with academic area. So most on-campus students have to pass through it everyday. Since they were very popular ( Both were Camp's Leader in their Rural Camp ), they always had to keep waving their hands to their friends along the bridge. Which for me just like those superstars waving to their fans during their walks on Red Carpet...

DotA
- Our main entertainment in hostel is nothing else but DotA. I just started to learn DotA when I came Inti. Learned from Zero to Hero in Inti. I bet study in Inti will be the only period i play DotA. Think of DotA remind me of Joey again because we always accompany each other to play DotA. We even tried to 1 on 1 for all heroes but end up only 4 for them. LOL... We wasted almost 2 hours to play Crytal Maiden game.
