Genie Day. Not happy

Third post on this blog for Genie's Birthday, marking my 4th year being her fan.

Although it is really one of the worst day of my life. My project supervisor said he does not think I'm qualified to graduate, and will fail my final year project if I cannot convince him (by talking) on Monday.... Which I have no clue about what should I talk about.

Life's unbearably suck, when thing turned out worse than your worst case scenario... Fuck My Life.

Another new year, another Genie Day!!!

This should be 3rd post about Genie's birthday in my blog, marking my 3rd year being a mild Genie fan...

This is it! Finally a perfect Walkman for me. It had been 3 years since I wanted to upgrade a new Walkman when a button on my ex defected and unable to hoop between albums. That was my 1st mp3 player, and *ehem* was the world's 1st built-in noise-canceling mp3 player. After having that, I'm no longer interested in players without that function.

It's also the 1st with 2nd gen. bundled NC headphone.

So it took me to wait for 3 years until this 4th generation of NC Walkman with 2 major improvements that I longing for.

Large album art + Disney-free D-pad

Old walkman interface + Disney D-pad

1. Finally a sexy and "Disney Mickey Mouse"-free D-pad design. Try see older walkmans to what I mean...

2. Finally a change in walkman interface with large album art by knocking off useless information such as Genre and Release Year. This is extremely important for me as I really like to look at album arts when listening songs. (My roommate surely can prove this XD) Without this update, I'm definitely going to wait for another year.

However, the noise-canceling function is changed too in this model and it doesn't sounds like an upgrade. Original NC function will analyzes ambient noise and produce identical canceling waves. But this new version, so called Digital NC doesn't have the analyzing function. Canceling waves are produced with a range of amplitudes that can be adjusted by user. Still there is an advantage to this Digital NC too. For me heavy NC is slightly uncomfortable, so its actually good to be able to tweak the NC myself...

After the hype, now I finalize this player with 2 cons.
1. No File management in player. Means you cannot delete songs without connect to computer. This really suck!
2. Incomplete chinese characters support without changing the player language to chinese. Buu~

Will Pan - Ignoring his first 4 albums, I only started 'keeping an ear' on his album after his Vol.5 - 反转地球, where he started to have a tweak in his style. Following by Vol.6 and now Vol.7 with well balanced fast songs and slow songs, no 'junks' found. For me, a good album is which I will never press "Next" while listening it. Will's genre is Unique, and good choice to rest my ears away from Jay's genre.

One of the track, (04.Be with You) is actually composed by Akon, nice song but indeed very Akon-esque. And the MV of my favourite track, (01.Pas de Deux) is really cool starring awesomely beautiful Lee Da Hae.

I support Genie!

2 months ago, Genie became official endorser of Le Coq Sportif in Taiwan...

So, today I bought Le Coq Sportif's shoe in Australia.

Trust me, it's pure coincident. ~.~

JDrama! - Spring

What is the most important factor of a drama? For me, it's definitely not the storyline.. It's the Actresses! Always, my first impression on a drama is to check whether any actress I know is in the casting. If there is an actress that pleased, I will still watch the drama even the story is crappy...

That's why Code Blue is my favorite drama in year 2008. Starring both my favorite Japanese Idol. Erika Toda + Yui Aragaki = WIN. щ(ﾟДﾟщ)

And this Spring season's Jdrama list is definitely one of the best in these years! This is the first time I've seen so many actresses (or you prefer to call them idols) that I keep an eye on appear in a same season.

Toda Erika. Too bad she's not lead character in this drama though, hope she have enough screen time to display her charms.

All these drama will start airing this week. Since they are on par in term of actress, let see which drama will be the best out of others...

When I knew she's gonna release her new album, my first thought was "Finally!". She is another female Taiwan singer that I enjoyed for years, although her last album was 3 years ago. Back in Inti, I always listen to her songs while taking nap. Yup, her songs are mostly 'lullaby' type. Slow, soft, smooth... Which is the genre that I like.

Well, no matter you understand Mandarin or not. Try this album, especially you having difficulty falling into sleep. I personally guarantee it will helps.

Meet my new friend... I like Japanese school uniform XD

Just now was winter's uniform, this is for normal days...

This anime blog that I always visit posted about this Japanese "paper doll" style game named '3D Custom Girl'. Which basically the same concept like creating a character and changing her cloths in The Sims. So I download it out of boredom... But kinda disappointed that the options of customization are far more lesser than The Sims 2 and Perfect World (An online game).

Well, this will be a 'self satisfaction' post. But can't help... Because the new drama 《翻滾吧！蛋炒飯》 (erm, Rolling Omelet Rice?) is finally on air! 13 episodes, 13 weeks. I hope I have enough time to finish this drama before go study.

So what so special about this drama? Since Taiwanese (偶像剧) idol drama's storyline is always exaggerate and silly. They named it idol drama, so watching these drama only serve 1 purpose - see idols... For the 1st time, Genie Zhuo (卓文萱) act as the leading female character in the drama!!! So regardless how silly and boring the storyline goes, it will be a must watch! How good is Genie you ask? If one day you see me queueing in the crowd to get an idol's signature, then the idol must be Genie. No other idol has the attraction to drag me into the crowd, I hate crowd VERY much...

Watched 《公主小妹》 awhile ago because Genie in the actors list. It pissed me because although they stated Genie as "2nd leading character", her screen time is extremely little. But I did impressed fashion designer of her in 《公主小妹》. I realised Genie looks extremely charming in yellow clothings. And throughout the drama, almost all dresses she wore are in yellow spectrum. Thanks to that, I was able to complete the drama even the storyline is .....

If I'm a Japanese....

1. I won't bother to learn foreign languages because I'm proud of being a nihon-jin (Japanese).

2. I will have choices of good J-dorama and Anime to watch through various of channels. In High Definition!

3. I can enjoy high speed internet connectivity (100Mbps).

4. I can use electronics with latest technologies.

5. I can buy porno videos and magazines blatantly in convenient store as soon as I'm above 18.

6. I can buy anything, even condoms from vending machines.

7. I can use really cool and techy handphones!

Sujini's Poison~

Trust me. You will like this animated pic. if you watched "The Legend" a.k.a. "The Story of the First King's Four Gods". A Korean drama starring Bae Yong Jun. ^_^


Lee Ji Ah - Play as one of the main character, Sujini. That is her signature move in the drama which won fellow audiences' heart, including mine. Suprisingly, she is a newcomer and this is her very 1st acting experience. Thanks to her lovable character in "Four Gods" and her beauty of course, she gained quite a popularity.
