Nendoroid: K-ON (Yui & Mio)

Glad that I actually able to obtain this 2 nendoroids as they are extremely popular which out of stock within a week of release in Japan. Got them in not other but Tamarket.com where I got Haruhi and Light last year. I did search the website when Mio and Yui released but no result... So I thought they weren't manage to order as well. But actually they do have stocks but named them "nendroid" instead of "nendoroid". Luckily I somehow found out last week while browsing the internet. thank to google!

Unboxing: Both comes with great numbers of arms and legs to perform 5 or 6 poses compare to standard 3 official poses. Nendoroid series surely always evolving.

I praised my last nendoroid Saber Lily for her finally perfected display stand. This time they use the same ball jointed stand as well but not as stable as Saber Lily's. And instead of traditional circle plate, they make (I think) cat's ear shape as the base of the stand, which I don't know the reason because K-ON have nothing to do with cats...

Nendoriod moment - Head swapping!

These two nendoroids have so far the best spare parts sharing among my collections due to identical joint and costume, which makes them really fun to play with.

Too bad... The 1st defect I found on a nendoriod. The paint went off boundary on Mio's right arm that holding the bass, which is quite obvious.

Overall, I found Yui is much more adorable than Mio. Cuter expressions and poses, maybe because Yui personality for being fluffy while Mio is more serious and mature.

Here's 9 nendoroids I bought over a year. This bookshelf does really suitable to display them. Guess I'll just leave my textbooks in box. XD

Nendoroid: Saber Lily

Unboxing: Here comes my 7th Nendoroid - an alternative version of Saber from PSP game Fate/Unlimited Codes, one of my favorite anime character design. Noticeably various of arm parts for different poses.

My only dissatisfaction of Nendoroids is their base stand that always can't hold the figures properly. I seen improvements over time and finally this one came with a really well built base stand. Now I can prevent the figure from leaning behind by adjusting the bend. Kool!

This Saber looks much more elegant compare to original design.

Unboxing: So far the least parts Nendoroid I bought. But who cares, she's Haruhi !

Product Code 9. One of the 1st batch of Nendoroid designs, so expected less design quality than recent Miyuki and Tsukasa I bought last time. The most annoying problem is the stand can't hold the figure straightly, making the poses look unnature.

That's all for my 5th Nendoroid. 6th coming soon too~

Unboxing: It's significantly lesser parts compare to L. No wonder it's about 10AUD cheaper than L.

As a celebration for my first CNY in Melb (Just an excuse), I'd ordered my 2nd Nendoroid from an internet store last week. Light from Death Note to accompany L. This is the second time making online purchase in Aussie, and it'll be more since I really addicted with Nendoroids.

There's another fun thing to play with Nendoroids that some of their joints are identical, especially neck's joint. So we can actually switch their heads like Lego.

Finally I got it! Woohoo! Nendoroid L by GoodSmile Company.

In a nutshell, it's superb cute! Luckily I'm studying in Melb. now and there's hardly to find these Nendoroids... If I'm staying in Malaysia, no doubt that my room will full of nendoroids in no time! "Prone to cuteness" is not limited to girls only. LoL~
