Temporary Resident

Recently our Latrobe hideout became even more lively with an addition of temporary member - Genieve from Adelaide, friend of Darryl. Temporary member as in she just arrived in Melbourne and still searching for a shelter.

To my surprise, Genieve likes to take photo a lot. This brings up memories in Inti life with camera. Miss the days fooling around with Joey and ThongChin where stupid photos were taken almost everyday no matter we are studying, eating or traveling.

Losser...

Yes, I did it again... This time, lost my mobile phone. Sony Ericsson W610 - simply my favorite mobile up to date. I did consider just keep on using that phone for years despite it's not a high-end mobile. Too bad, I lost it on last Wednesday.

I really hate myself for being so careless. Seriously. I always remind myself of 3 important things whenever I'm going out: Wallet, Keys & Mobile. Sarcastically, I lost each of them respectively each semester in this one and a half year.

Experience this time is much more frustrated than the lost of wallet and keys last year. Because I actually realised I dropped my phone just a few minutes after walked from tram stop to the elevator of my apartment. I actually run along the tram route from my stop until waterfront city to chase back the tram. I did saw the tram while I'm chasing but couldn't managed to catch it. If only the tram stops distant is nearer as stops in city center... I should able to retrieve my phone.

Sigh~~~

Silent Night

Trying to take a photo of the night view from my balcony. Unfortunately my mobile phone is not capable for decent night vision.

This is the 1st time I live so high away from ground and with a big floor-to-ceiling window. Maybe 8th floor is not really that 'tall' but it's surely something new for me. Certainly 8th floor is no way tall enough for a city landscape view. But just gazing at the night make me claim.

Alone in house may be lonely at times, but the silence is very comfortable too. Especially in front of the night. In hours, my housemates are coming to join me in this apartment. Farewell my lonely yet silent life. I'll definitely miss you sometimes...

Nendoroid: K-ON (Yui & Mio)

Glad that I actually able to obtain this 2 nendoroids as they are extremely popular which out of stock within a week of release in Japan. Got them in not other but Tamarket.com where I got Haruhi and Light last year. I did search the website when Mio and Yui released but no result... So I thought they weren't manage to order as well. But actually they do have stocks but named them "nendroid" instead of "nendoroid". Luckily I somehow found out last week while browsing the internet. thank to google!

Unboxing: Both comes with great numbers of arms and legs to perform 5 or 6 poses compare to standard 3 official poses. Nendoroid series surely always evolving.

Round ears for Yui, Sharp ears for Mio

I praised my last nendoroid Saber Lily for her finally perfected display stand. This time they use the same ball jointed stand as well but not as stable as Saber Lily's. And instead of traditional circle plate, they make (I think) cat's ear shape as the base of the stand, which I don't know the reason because K-ON have nothing to do with cats...

Nendoriod moment - Head swapping!

These two nendoroids have so far the best spare parts sharing among my collections due to identical joint and costume, which makes them really fun to play with.

Too bad... The 1st defect I found on a nendoriod. The paint went off boundary on Mio's right arm that holding the bass, which is quite obvious.

Overall, I found Yui is much more adorable than Mio. Cuter expressions and poses, maybe because Yui personality for being fluffy while Mio is more serious and mature.

Here's 9 nendoroids I bought over a year. This bookshelf does really suitable to display them. Guess I'll just leave my textbooks in box. XD
