Grudgeful WhyWai...

Days without computer: 17

Photobucket

This month is a frustrating period of time, as nothing went accordingly to my will. My laptop died and when I decided to buy a decent desktop from Dell , I missed a bargain offer. ($200 cash off when you made $100 upgrades.) I hold grudge, because of the timing. Come on! The promotion ended exactly the day my laptop died! And the offers get crapper and crapper making me regret not taking the previous offers. What the **** was that Mr. God as if you exist? Are you having fun toying me?

Now I had to wait until Dell make at least a satisfying offer so that I can make a purchase. And that will be at least 1 week adding another 1 week of delivery time. Worse case, I might have to wait for weeks until a decent offer.

ps: Forgot to mention, that even the pendrive I use to back up all setups of programmes I attached to and Firefox's add-ons also spoiled last week... HE screwed me completely...

Lastly, presenting -
Zennway under "Want-to-fly" hallucination. (Revenge for announcing about the toilet bowl)

These Days...

Photobucket

24 Feb 2009 - My beloved HP laptop burst, the Screen died. With warranty expired, I sent it to repair for $400. But 3 days after returned, it went abnormal again... This time it's the graphic card's faulty... Repairing that will be definitely more than $400. So I decided not to repair it because I'll be able to buy a decent computer with $1000, why I have to use it to repair the laptop. My biggest regret is that I bought this, my first laptop far too expensive. What I learnt from this experience is "Never buy a laptop cost more than RM3000!"

My laptop's condition nowadays is like an old man - I only can switch it on for few hours with extra light usage before it shutdown itself of exhaustion. Which means, no gaming no video and not even photoshop! And I also accidentally lost most of my drama and anime when recovering my window from a crash.

However. Having minimum time sitting in front of computer these days, I've went for outdoor activities more often. Which I feel... Not bad at all! I was really depressed the first few days my laptop went wrong, but I'm cool with it now. At least I'm still have a healthy body and some good friends around me. Actually I've started to plan on buying a desktop here since I'll still staying in Melbourne for at least 3 years, but at the same time I feel quite guilty for being wasteful... Well, I guess it's just a matter of time before the devil in my heart win the war for me to buy it...

End of Summer Class

Photobucket
Sorry Zhengwei, I messed up your bed a bit. Fall in sleep on it once while looking at the sky.

Again, time flies... 6 weeks of my Summer Class has ended. Zhengwei is coming back on Tuesday and everything is going back to normal. Good bye to summer days with more than 40°C, I guess we won't be meeting in 1 year time~

I discovered Zhengwei bed's position is really nice as I can see the sky while lying on it. But I won't envy him, everything needs a pay. Sleep beside window during winter is something that I will never dare to challenge...

3 dinners per cook, cook twice per week. It's like my Golden Rule in this summer.

When I said back to normal, that means Zhengwei and I along with Xavier can cook our dinners everyday again. Seriously, I have already sick of my fry rice. This is my 40th day backed in Melbourne, and also my 34th night eating fry rice as my dinner. I'm so lazy to cook everyday alone, so fry rice serve well. It's easy to cook as well as easy to keep.

Aside from loneliness, there are actually some benifits living alone especially in this room. I've been using Zhengwei's place to study. It's more comfortable as there is space for my legs. (Usually, I've to study in front of the orange drawers in " L style "). Also, I can sleep as late as I want, keep the bliss shut all the time to avoid sunlight, scatter my things around the floor, and being naked in room (Perfect for summer).

Cheer - Immortal

Photobucket

WhyWai's Mandarin Music recommendation:

Artist: 陈綺贞 (Cheer Chen)
Album: 太阳 (Immortal)
Favorites: 04.鱼(Fish) ; 05.距离(Distant)

When I knew she's gonna release her new album, my first thought was "Finally!". She is another female Taiwan singer that I enjoyed for years, although her last album was 3 years ago. Back in Inti, I always listen to her songs while taking nap. Yup, her songs are mostly 'lullaby' type. Slow, soft, smooth... Which is the genre that I like.

Well, no matter you understand Mandarin or not. Try this album, especially you having difficulty falling into sleep. I personally guarantee it will helps.
